Wee Positive Images toolkit

The Wee Positive Images resource was developed for primary 5 and 6 pupils and introduces some key issues and experiences faced by asylum seekers and refugees.

Using a creative, interactive approach, the toolkit focuses on empathy building and fostering understanding to promote global awareness and active citizenship.

*Most activities require a large working space so pupils can move around freely.

Session one (one hour)

Session one provides simple definitions and shows how conflict can affect ordinary children and families and encourages pupils to empathise with their experiences.
