Asia-Pacific - programme areas

The British Red Cross is currently supporting health and social care programmes in Mongolia and China.

We also played a lead role in responding to the tsunami, with operations in the region focusing on the Indonesian province of Aceh.

The organisation spent about £40 million in Indonesia, helping thousands of people get their lives and livelihoods back.
