Step into Agatha Christie’s wartime world
Hosted at the historic Assembly Rooms in Torquay Town Hall, where Christie volunteered as a nurse during the First World War, the event will feature:
- the unveiling of a commemorative blue plaque
- expert talks from leading Agatha Christie specialists
- the premiere of a new short film
- a unique audio-visual presentation
- a panel discussion exploring the influence of her wartime experiences on her writing.
Guests can also enjoy tea and cakes, followed by a traditional tea dance with the South Devon Big Band.
Period dress is encouraged, with all proceeds supporting the British Red Cross and the Agatha Christie Festival.
