About the event
The Cardiff Half Marathon has grown into one of Europe’s largest half marathons, with around 27,000 registered runners and first class athletes now taking part. As one of the ‘Super Halfs’, it’s recognised alongside races in Lisbon, Prague, Copenhagen and more as one of the world’s most prestigious half marathons and offers a truly special day in a city renowned for its sporting passion.
The race has a fast, flat course that passes some of Cardiff’s most iconic landmarks including Cardiff Castle, the Principality Stadium, Civic Centre and stunning Cardiff Bay.
You’ll be cheered on by thousands of spectators, and the event features a full weekend of attractions including a host of family friendly activities at the Saturday Festival of Running.
