Fairfield house is situated within the area of Quantock Hills area of outstanding natural beauty and features a woodland garden with spring flowers beneath shrubs and trees. The walled kitchen garden includes roses and a herbaceous border.
An earlier maze has been recreated with a paved replica. There are also apple orchards.
Other attractions include the children’s treasure trail and the Tombola and Wibble Farm Nurseries plant sale.
From the A39 Bridgwater to Minehead, turn north. The garden is 1.5 miles west of Stogursey, on Stringston Road. Stogursey is situated 3 miles from the A39 within sight of Hinkley Point Nuclear Power Station.
The garden is 4 miles south of York on the A123. At the traffic lights turn left and the house is the third on the right.
There is parking for cars (no coaches).
