Thirteen acres of fabulous gardens complement the magnificent Jacobean house. Terraced lawns ornamented with topiary lead through herbaceous borders to a large formal lily pond. The rose garden is a flamboyant mix of shrub roses and herbaceous perennials.
Walking further down the broad gravel paths leads to an intimate Italian garden. There is also a large walled garden with a collection of delphiniums, a potager, cut flowers and an iris border. Three greenhouses hold exotics, alpines and ferns.
