This semi-formal garden has shrubs, fruit trees and larger trees planted over the 30 years of its development. Just under a quarter of an acre, it also features a lawn, raised beds, rockery and patios, and archways with climbers.

Small areas are left wilder for birds, with feeders to encourage their visits.

From the A56 in Altrincham, take St. Margaret’s Road and then The Firs. Elcho Road is a cul-de-sac on the right, and the house is second on the right.
