School Miles for Refugees
Your school can get out, get active, and help refugees this September.
On Friday 28 September your school can be part of something special.
By taking part in Miles for Refugees, you can help the British Red Cross’ vital work to support refugees.
It’s simple to take part. Each child (and member of staff) pays £1.00 to enter. Then during the day you all go for a one-mile walk or run. If any child would like to raise additional sponsorship then they can do so.
The money you raise could help to reunite a family who have been separated through conflict.
Ahmed experienced this first hand: “I have no words to explain how much I was happy when I first saw my family,” he said.
“Because of British Red Cross today I am able to eat, sleep, laugh and enjoy my time with my children as all parents do.”
When you register, we will email you a pack with details of the event.
So pull on your trainers, get outside and make your miles count this September.
