Tremenheere has been described by Kirsty Fergusson, of Country Life Magazine, as “enveloped by calmness”. Monty Don, of BBC Gardeners World, called it “ambitious and expansive both in its planting and the artworks.”
This beautiful garden features works by James Turrell, David Nash, Richard Long and Peter Randall-Page, and boasts a new art gallery.
There is very limited wheelchair access to the restaurant, shop, gallery and plant sales. Please keep in mind that the garden is in a valley with steep slopes and a boardwalk at the bottom. This terrain will limit access for people who use wheelchairs or have problems with walking. Dogs on leads are welcome everywhere but in the café.
