In the last three years the people of Syria have had their lives ripped apart by conflict. It is hard to imagine the sights they have had to witness, events which have left many utterly traumatised. Violence, the death of loved ones and being forced to flee their homes has had a huge emotional impact on so many people. They will bear the emotional scars for the rest of their lives.

A generation of children have witnessed the brutality of war. They are suffering from nightmares, bed wetting and anxiety after witnessing traumatic events.

But you can help.

With your donations, we are able to support projects within Syria working with children and adults to help them cope with the emotional impact of the conflict. Your support will help people come to terms with what they have seen and how they’re feeling.

Stories from the ground

Your donation will go towards psychosocial support activities in Syria if received by 25 April 2014. If your donation is received after this time the funds will go to the Syria Crisis Appeal. In the unlikely event that we raise more money than can be reasonably and efficiently spent on psychosocial support activities any surplus funds will go to the Syria Crisis Appeal.
