In April, the strongest earthquake to hit Nepal in 80 years left thousands dead and many more in need of help. Two weeks later, another earthquake shook a country already in mourning.

The Red Cross was one of the first aid organisations to help when disaster struck. Thousands of local volunteers gave survivors medical care, food, water and shelter. They set up health-protecting toilets and latrines too.

People in Nepal still need your help. Donate now.
