Take action in your area

A crowd of young volunteers

Are you aged between 15 and 25? Are you looking for unique volunteering opportunities in your local area?

Sign up to become an Inspired Action volunteer and we’ll help you find a role or project that is right for you.

Inspired Action is a truly inclusive volunteering programme and all are welcome.

We would particularly like to encourage disabled young people and those who have never thought of volunteering before to get involved.

What could I be doing?

As an Inspired Action volunteer you could be:

  • working in one of our shops turning donations into much-needed cash to fund our work
  • helping an injured person at a festival as part of our event first aid team
  • giving emergency help in a flood or a fire as part of our emergency response team
  • welcoming people with refugee status to the country
  • organising and hosting a fundraising event
  • and much more…

What do our former volunteers say?

Louise said: “Volunteering enabled me to get my care assistant job because I already had the people skills needed.”

Samuel said: “The opportunities are endless. Wherever you go in the world, the Red Cross Society makes you feel welcome."
