#ShopDrop for Nepal

Help our life-saving work for the people of Nepal by donating your quality clothes and goods to one of our many shops across the UK.

Turn your clothing, accessories, household items or furniture into cash to help provide shelter and essential supplies for people whose lives have been devastated by the earthquake in Nepal.

Thousands have been left homeless but just £25 could give two basic shelter toolkits to families who have lost their homes.

Simply ask to put your donated items towards our Nepal Earthquake Appeal and you can help save lives.

Shop to save lives

When you drop off your donations, why not shop with us as well? Your local Red Cross store will have a huge variety of items on offer, and with shops specialising in vintage, books, designer, bridal, furniture and electrical you're sure to find something for you.

How it works

The British Red Cross is appealing for goods to sell through our chain of shops to support the ongoing Nepal Earthquake Appeal such as quality clothing, books and unwanted gifts. Income raised from any goods expressly donated in support of Nepal, and sold during the period of our appeal will go towards the British Red Cross Nepal Earthquake Appeal. Any such stock that is unsaleable or remains unsold after this period will be recycled or sold to help raise funds for British Red Cross work, wherever and whenever we are needed.

Why we sell your items in the UK

Please note that we cannot send any donated items abroad.

Wherever possible we source necessary items from the affected region because this benefits the local economy, reduces our transport costs and speeds up our delivery times.

For this reason, the British Red Cross only accepts donated goods for resale in the UK.
