How much does it cost to hire a wheelchair or toilet aid?

There is no charge to hire a wheelchair or other toilet seats, although we do encourage donations to help us provide this service.

We charge a small fee for the commode pots, some models of toilet seats and frames. This covers the parts that cannot be returned for hygiene reasons.

How to collect and return your wheelchair

In most cases you will need to visit your local mobility aids service to collect and return a wheelchair or toilet aid. If you need to arrange a home delivery, please find your local team using the button above, and telephone them to enquire about delivery.

I live in London. Why can't I find this service in my area?

Unfortunately we cannot guarantee delivery of the service in London. If you live in London, you can contact our Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Essex office as they may be able to help. Each enquiry will be dealt with on a case-by-case basis.

Where can I buy independent living aids?

You can buy a wide range of equipment on our online shop, from toilet seats and backrests to spill-proof cups and shower benches.
