Jason Isaacs

Actor Jason Isaacs continues to provide incredible support for our work, and our refugee-related projects in particular. He travelled with us to see our refugee support work in Italy and has met refugees at our Islington and Hackney centres.

Jason's support has included voice-overs for Red Cross films, fronting the Disaster and Emergency Committee's film on ITV for the Indonesian Appeal and so much more.

During the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, he and fellow Harry Potter star, Tom Felton, encouraged people to keep in touch with those self-isolating. And he even found time to launch our debut TikTok channel.

JB Gill

Ex-JLS star turned TV presenter and turkey farmer, JB Gill, travelled with us to Zimbabwe to raise awareness of the effects of climate change in some of the remotest regions.

He’s also supported various campaigns including our plea for funds for our Cylone Idai Appeal and to help combat Ebola.

A former scout, JB also  champions our role in the Scout’s A Million Hands campaign, encouraging scouts to show how kindness can transform society.

Most recently, he was Alex Holmes’ guest on the Time to Talk podcast, discussing our loneliness work, racism and fatherhood.

Ben Fogle

In 2018, Ben summited Mount Everest, flying the flag for the British Red Cross. During a training trip to Nepal, he visited our earthquake prevention work and gave blood (for the first time) at a Nepalese Red Cross solar-powered blood bank.

He was also on the ground with British Red Cross volunteers after the horrific Grenfell Tower Fire, and visited Mozambique with us, after a devastating cyclone.

A UN Patron of the Wilderness, Ben is keen to support our climate change initiatives.  Ben’s support is varied, and he gives his time generously.

He’s volunteered at our Cheltenham Red Cross shop, met BRC fundraisers throughout the country at his book tours and helped encourage commuters to donate while volunteers sang carols at Baker St Tube Station in London.

Victoria Pendleton CBE

Former Olympian, Victoria, visited Nepal to see our earthquake prevention and resilience work while training for her attempted summit of Mount Everest in support of the British Red Cross.

She has starred in video clips to demonstrate simple first aid skills and fronted our first Miles for Refugees fundraising initiative.
