Start your own British Red Cross on Campus group

  • Don't have a group at your university? Contact your students' union or association if you are interested in setting up your own British Red Cross on Campus group. They will give you support and they often offer funding to set up an official student club or society.

  • You can contact the British Red Cross on Campus team for advice and support on and download our free information pack.

  • Book a stand at your Freshers' Fair to drum up interest and get more members.

  • Book your first meeting and get as many members as possible to attend, then plan your activity. Groups get active by campaigning, fundraising and raising awareness of the British Red Cross. Use this free pack to get your group involved in the latest important calls to action.

Every group is passionate about helping people in crisis. They show a great amount of enthusiasm and commitment to the organisation.

Every autumn term there is a British Red Cross on Campus meeting for groups around the country. You’ll get to meet like-minded volunteers, network, attend training and share ideas.

For more information, download our handy pack which tells you everything you need to know about setting up and running your own group.
