Would your organisation like to support young volunteers?
Inspired Action is a youth engagement project. Aimed at young people who do not typically engage in volunteering, the project explores how to remove barriers so everyone can enjoy the benefits of being a volunteer.
Funded by Spirit of 2012 Alive, and in partnership with Whizz-Kidz, we have supported nearly 700 young people into volunteering opportunities. During the process we learnt a lot about being inclusive when it comes to disability.
Learning event for organisations
Does your organisation support young volunteers, with or without disabilities? If you would like to collaborate, learn and celebrate with us, please join us as we share the lessons from Inspired Action at a learning event on 23 February 2017 in York.
Thanks to the support of Spirit of 2012 we have free places available for organisations working to involve young people in volunteering.
If you have any questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
