In response to a request for information from the Secretary of State for International Development, the British Red Cross has compiled and submitted the document, 'Response to request for information on safeguarding from Secretary of State for International Development'.
The document outlines all the steps we are taking to ensure our safeguarding policies are being implemented effectively.
We will not tolerate any form of sexual misconduct. We treat all complaints extremely seriously and any violations will lead to disciplinary action, and where appropriate will be reported to the police.
We take our responsibility to safeguard all people who come into contact with the British Red Cross, including our own staff and volunteers, extremely seriously.
