Empower your teaching with free CPD
Our programme of humanitarian education is a collection of free two part 90-minute courses. It’s a first of its kind for educators.
Teachers and youth workers will learn how to educate 11-18 year-olds in vital humanitarian topics and life skills.
Young people face increasingly complex challenges. These skills will help them engage in meaningful conversations, develop emotional tools, and understand world issues.
The following subject areas are made up of two modules, which take around an hour each to complete:
- Teaching First Aid
- Teaching about War and Conflict
- Teaching about Migration
- Teaching Climate Preparedness
‘Teaching Resilience’ will be released by the end of 2025.

Who are the CPD courses for?
Our CPD courses are ideal for:
- secondary school teachers across the UK and educators of young people aged 11-18, particularly in subjects like PSHE, Citizenship, English Literature, Geography, and Religious Education
- college educators supporting students up to 18 years old
- youth workers working with young people aged 11-18
- individuals who support young people in both formal and informal education settings

Join our monthly virtual masterclasses
If you enjoy learning via facilitated sessions then our live expert-led masterclasses are for you.
