Support with loneliness and social isolation
A donation this winter will help make sure support is there for those who need it most.
In the house next door, in the cafe you visit every week, or on your bus to work, every day you could meet people who feel alone and isolated, with no one to turn to.
It's time we recognise how close we all are to people who need our help. And how much more connected we could be if we offer them our kindness.
You can help us be there every day for people who feel isolated and alone. Whether that's supporting someone in their home, lending a wheelchair so they can get around, or supporting people leaving hospital - we'll be there.

Help someone feel less lonely this winter by sending a Christmas card
From 26 November to 10 December 2018, some British Red Cross shops will be offering a free Christmas card with every pack bought in store, and asking shoppers to show their kindness by writing a message to someone receiving support from the British Red Cross.
Alternatively, you can drop your own card into one of the participating British Red Cross shops if you would like to send a greeting to a member of your community who might be feeling lonely or isolated.
This small act of kindness could help show someone in your community you're thinking of them this festive season.
