Explore the Garden of Rosemary Alexander

A beautifully designed series of garden rooms created by Rosemary Alexander, author and principal of the English Gardening School.

Visitors are invited to explore the inspiring home garden of Rosemary Alexander, carefully arranged as a sequence of intimate garden rooms. Among these spaces is a delightful kitchen garden, tucked between thoughtfully planted borders and pathways.

Front Garden

At the front of the house, you’ll find a serene woodland area featuring shrubs, ferns, and leafy borders. A welcoming topiary entrance leads to a sunny terrace, offering a peaceful setting to enjoy the structure and texture of the planting.

Rear Garden

The rear garden reveals a vibrant mix of rose borders, striking red borders, and soft grass borders, creating a colourful and uplifting space filled with movement, contrast, and year‑round interest.
