Our overseas branches
The British Red Cross has eight overseas branches. As they are all in British overseas territories, they form part of the British Red Cross.
Their work covers a wide range of Red Cross activities depending on local needs. For instance, many branches offer disaster management, community health support and first aid. As in all Red Cross branches, volunteers are the mainstay of their work.
Activities include: disaster management, first aid training, first aid at events, an annual prostate cancer screening, medical equipment rental, home care and a youth programme.
