Coronavirus status

Are you a volunteer affected by Coronavirus?

For your safety and the safety of others, if you are a British Red Cross volunteer we need to know your status and whether you are ill, self-isolating or feeling better

Our priority is the safety and wellbeing of our volunteers. If you’ve been affected by Coronavirus and can’t volunteer for us at the moment because you are ill or are self-isolating, you need to let us know by filling out this form.

If your status changes, please come back and let us know by filling the form out again.

Why should I fill out this form?

We need this information to keep you and others as safe as possible.

We want to know if you’re not well so we can share the right information and give you space and time to recover. We also have a responsibility to keep our service users and other members of the public safe by doing our bit to report cases and self-isolate.

It’s also important we know how many volunteers are available to take part in the British Red Cross response and help the people affected by Coronavirus.

For more information on how we use personal data, our legal basis for doing so and your privacy rights, please see our Privacy Notice.

What else should I be doing?

Continue to follow the government's advice on self-isolation. If you’re concerned, call 111 for professional medical advice.

As an organisation, we’ll continue to keep you informed and answer your questions via email.

If you have any questions about how Coronavirus affects your volunteering role, please contact your line manager.
