Returning your wheelchair
Hello and welcome to this short demonstration on how to get your wheelchair ready to return to us.
We recommend that you ask someone to help you with this task.
If your box has been flat-packed, you will first need to rebuild it. Please ensure there is no damage to the protective packaging.
Fold the top sides of the box inwards. Push the base in to hold it in place as you carefully turn the box over so that this side is now facing the ground.
Open the flaps and reach into the box to fold up the base using the cutout hand hold. Pull up the two flaps beneath and push down the base. Position the box so the writing is the right way up.
The box is now ready for the wheelchair.
Stand to the side of the wheelchair and lift the middle of the canvas seat. Next, stand behind the wheelchair to release the latch and fold down the handlebars. Move around to the front of the wheelchair.
To stow the foot plates, release the latch and move the foot plates to the side of the chair. to pack the wheelchair into the box, most sizes can be rolled straight in. once inside secure the brakes.
Please ensure that both foot plates are included in the box, along with any accessories such as stump supports, leg elevators or cushions.
Close the box once all items are inside and turn the locks clockwise to secure the box.
Self-propelled 18” wheelchair
If you have a self-propelled 18-inch wheelchair, tip back and wheel forwards into the box. You will then need to carefully tip the box backwards to safely close the box.
Transit 20” wheelchair
If you have a Transit 20-inch wheelchair, wheel forwards into the box making sure the chair is positioned diagonally.
Ensure that you have removed the original delivery label. The third-party courier will print and attach the return label upon collection.
