In this dinner party with a difference, use our recipes below to create a new and tasty international dish.
Then share your feast with friends and family in exchange for a donation to the British Red Cross.
We’ll use the money to support people whenever and wherever the need is greatest. So, get out your wooden spoon, tie on your apron and whip up some dining fun.

Jollof rice
Jollof rice is a national dish in several West African countries. Coloured bright orange from tomatoes, this delicious one-pot meal also includes rich spices, vegetables and a meat of your choice.
Biriyani
Enjoy our Biriyani recipe, which can be made in a meat or vegetarian/vegan version. Flavoured with exotic spices, long-grained rice is layered with meat, fish or vegetables and topped with a thick gravy – a delight for the senses.
Falafel
A classic Middle Eastern dish, falafel are balls of fried chickpeas or fava beans delicately flavoured with sesame and spices. Try them in pita, with a salad or topped with hummus or tahini.
Tarkari Curry
Tarkari is a traditional curry served across Nepal and nearby regions of India and Bangladesh. Vegetables are at its centre, making it a great vegetarian or vegan main disk, and you can make it as spicy (or not!) as you like.
