Fundraising Promises
Our commitments as a member of the Fundraising Regulator
The British Red Cross is a member of the Fundraising Regulator.
The Fundraising Regulator is independent. It sets high standards for charity fundraising in the UK.
We’ve made a promise to raise funds in an open, honest and respectful way.
We’ve signed up to the following:
The Code of Fundraising Practice
The Code of Fundraising Practice sets the standards expected of all UK charities.
It includes rules for street and door-to-door fundraising. This also covers private sites such as shopping centres, events and retail stores.
The Code of Fundraising Practice is available on the Fundraising Regulator’s website.
The Fundraising Promise
The Fundraising Promise lays out our commitments to people who donate money to us.
