The parkland’s stunning six acres have lawns, an ornamental woodland and wildflower meadow surrounded by a nine-species hedgerow with four copses. There are also mown paths where visitors can see butterflies and bees bustling around the hedgerows and wildflowers.
Wander past the pond and herb beds, through the rose arches and you’ll discover a wardrobe, guarded by a witch, leading to two walled gardens. Influences from the stories of both Narnia and Middle-Earth can be found throughout the garden. These were created by Roger Lancelyn Green, 31st Lord of the Manor of Poulton Lancelyn and Lower Bebington, who lived here from 1918 to 1987 and was good friends with J.R.R. Tolkien and C. S. Lewis.
Other attractions include a storyteller, archery, music and corrilon.
