With scattered, dense woods, sprawling grounds that roll briskly down to the North Tyne, and a 13th century Castle, the Chipchase grounds offer some of the best natural and historical features the country has to offer. The house is open to view at an extra cost.
Directions:
From Newcastle take the A69 and turn off for the A68 at Corbridge continue for 11 miles to your destination. From Carlisle take A689 joining A69 to your destination
