Wander the 2 ½ acres surrounding Scaleby Castle and its medieval ruins. There are borders, roses and a walk round the ancient moat. There will be homemade teas and a plant and produce stall. 

Homemade teas will be available, a plant and produce stall, and a raffle.  Grateful thanks are due to Scaleby Village Hall Committee for their help in organising this event.

Local ice creams and an arts and craft stall may also be available on the day.

Parking: 

Available onsite, with overflow at the village hall half a mile's walk away

Directions:

From M6, exit at Junction 44 and take the A689 towards Hexham. After 1 mile, turn left towards Scaleby. after approximately 3 miles drive through the village passing the church and village hall on the left. take the next right to the castle.

From the A69, take the turn to Brampton and in the town take the A6071 towards Longtown. after approximately 6 miles turn left to Scaleby, and after 1 1/2 miles turn left again to the castle.
