Enjoy beautiful gardens of nine acres with a large variety of fine trees, rhododendrons and azaleas, mixed borders and walled garden with a 75ft long ornamental greenhouse, lawns slope down to a lake and views across the Stour Valley, famous as Constable country.  

From the south-facing terrace, a valley of trees stretches across towards Stoke by Nayland’s 15th-century church and to the east visitors can enjoy panoramic views across the Box Valley.
