How will you be here for humanity this festive season?
The festive season is filled with joy and of coming together with friends and family. But for some, it can be a challenging time.
That’s why we’re inviting you to explore festive fundraising ideas for charity.
With your help, we can bring hope and life-changing support to anyone who needs it, no matter who or where they are.
How to take part
Step 1:
Choose from one of the following fundraising activities below, or create your own.
Step 2:
Complete your activity between 1 and 12 December.
Step 3:
Pay in the money raised to help us be there for humanity. Choose an appeal to pay into online, or discover other ways to pay in your fundraising.

The 12 Days of Humanity
Here are some suggestions for Christmas fundraising. You can come up with your own. The more creative, the better.
Festive bucket collections
Wear festive outfits as you collect for us. Find out how to collect for the Red Cross, whether shaking a bucket or with a collection can.
Festive dress up day
Encourage your school or office to wear festive outfits for a donation and spread seasonal joy.
Festive bingo
Download a pack to play in person or online.
Festive song bingo
Share a playlist and bingo cards. Have people guess the correct festive song and cross it off their bingo cards.
Festive sock day
Get festive from head to toe - starting with your feet. Whether in your school or workplace, encourage wearing festive themed socks for a donation.
Festive hamper raffle
Create a hamper full of festive treats then run a raffle for a chance to win.
Festive bake-off or a tea party
Host a community or work bake-off or tea event. Who will be named best baker? Decide once and for all who makes the best mince pies. Find out more about how to host a Red Cross tea party.
Best dressed tree
Share photos of your decorated tree – prizes for
guessing who dressed which tree and for the best dressed.
Festive crafternoon
Organise a crafting session with cards, ornaments, bunting. Participants donate to take part.
Designing and writing Christmas cards
Design and sell Christmas cards. You could run a Christmas card writing session to send cards to isolated individuals.
Wrapping station in office
Offer a gift wrapping service for donations.
Pre-Christmas clear out
Donate items to Red Cross shops or sell items yourself and donate the proceeds. Find your local charity shop.
