This garden includes a beautiful maturing millennium arboretum and woodland, specimen trees and a pond. Some scenes in the final series of Downton Abbey were filmed at the gardens.

There are also greenhouses in the kitchen garden with borders of veg and cutting flowers, surrounded by late 17th-century walls. Renovations are underway in a 30-metre border.

You'll also find homemade teas and a plant stall.
