A most beautiful, elevated estate with far-reaching views over the Vale of Aylesbury and neighbouring Hardwick Village, with extensive lawns, specimen trees and surrounding woodland.
Stocked perennial and shrub beds surround the main house, with a koi pond, neatly clipped yew and box topiary. The grounds extend to a walled garden with vegetables, tennis court and swimming pool, alongside a traditional wildflower meadow housing numerous beehives.
Visitors can have an optional guided tour from the head gardener, for an additional donation.
From Aylesbury take the A413 north to Buckingham. About three miles out of Aylesbury there will be a right turn signed to ‘Weedon, Aston Abbotts’. Do not take this turning. Travel a further 1 /2 mile and take the next right turn to Weedon. The road is called ‘High Street.’ Follow this road up to the top of the hill past village signs for ‘Weedon.’ The small road to Lilies bears sharply right. Proceed very slowly indicating right. After the white farmhouse on the right and before the red brick wall is the driveway to Lilies. There is a stone sign with ‘Lilies’ on the wall. Turn right up the drive and proceed to the end of the drive, following sign to Lilies/Parking area.
