Got your own place for
Great Scottish Run?
Join Team Red Cross and help people in crisis
If you have got your own place for the Great Scottish Run, why don't you become part of Team Red Cross?
The Great Scottish Run is the biggest weekend of running in Scotland with over 30,000 runners taking to the streets of Glasgow.
Starting in George Square, 10k runners will cross the River Clyde and pass iconic landmarks and buildings including The Hydro, The Finnieston Centre and Pacific Quay as they make their way toward the McLellan Arch and the finish line at Glasgow Green. Half marathon runners will also take a trip through Glasgow’s Bellahouston and Pollok parks.
Entertainment along the course includes a choir, bagpipers, drumming band, live music, charity cheering points and ‘Wall of Sound’ zones.
Why run with the British Red Cross?

As part of Team Red Cross you will be supported throughout your event preparation. Our local fundraiser based in Scotland will be on-hand to encourage you with your fundraising, answer any questions you have and to thank you for all of your hard work.
You will also receive:

- dedicated support, including training advice
- a British Red Cross running vest once you've raised £100
